First Thursday at Mid Main

Mid Main First Thursday kicks off on March 7th for the 7th year benefitting the Houston Parks Board!!

This FREE music, art, and food block party takes place in the 3500-3700 blocks of Main Street in the heart of Midtown Houston. Mid Main First Thursday will highlight the vision of the Houston Parks Board – thriving parks and communities for everyone forever – while showcasing the unique creative spirit of the Mid Main Neighborhood, home to a variety of locally-owned bars, clubs, restaurants, boutiques, retailers, and Mid Main Lofts.

Houston Parks Board is rallying the city around the radical idea that the use and enjoyment of parks are paramount to the happiness, health, connectivity, and economy of our city. They are executing the ambitious Bayou Greenways 2020 project, connecting 150 miles of hike-and-bike trails and linear parks and 3,000 acres of green space along Houston’s amazing network of bayous.
