Discovery Green is the epicenter of Houston's Earth Day celebrations in a day-long event presented by Green Mountain Energy Company in partnership with the Citizens' Environmental Coalition (Houston).

The event is designed to educate, inspire and encourage action, and features displays, exhibits and booths on topics ranging from alternative energy to recycling methods, a foodie farmers market, unplugged – a live music acoustic mini-festival, Earth Talks and more, all in a zero-waste footprint.
